Check out what influenster sent me!
If you do not know what influenster is … it’s an online
community of people who review products, give their opinion, and sometimes
complete surveys. By doing this you earn badges and get a score based on how
involved you are in the community. You can be involved as little or as much you
want but the more involved the more badges you will earn and the higher the
score. They sometimes send emails inviting you to twitter parties or to join a
contest having to do with new products or even TV shows. Recently, I was invited to a twitter party
about the new show “The Taste” on ABC with Nigella Lawson and Tony
Bordain. By participating, I qualified
to take the VOXBOX survey to see if I met the demographic for the march
VOXBOX…..and I did!!! The thing is you may not always qualify depending on what
kind of products they are showcasing that month. Luckily, I had only
participated in one event and was selected! I was so excited!!!
I was introduced to influenster by eleventhgorgeous who are
beauty and style gurus on YouTube. They talked about it in one of their videos
last year. I remember how impressed they were with influenster because in the
VOXBOX’s you actually received full size items to try out. I thought that it
sounded really cool! I googled
influenster found the website and requested my invite. Yes…. I said invite. I
had to take a survey for them to get to know me before I could be a member. It
was a couple weeks before I was accepted into the community. Don’t let this
discourage you! It was worth the wait.
This is the VOXBOX I received last week. I know that some of
the products are new to the market and some have been out for a while but I am
excited to use them all! As soon as I have a chance to try them all I will post
an updated blog with my findings!
